Much of the work of Healing HEART Sanctuary is involved with helping others either locally or all across the country with their injured or disabled pets.
In addition to her hands-on work, via the phone or email, Executive Director Laura Bradshaw, spends hours aiding individual pet owners, and rescues alike sharing her experiences of what has worked with many different animals and conditions.

But frankly, HHS does so much outreach on a long-distance basis that oftentimes Laura hasn’t had the time to keep track of all of her great work over the years. She honestly doesn’t seem to realize the impact she personally has had on many animals as well as the humans. For example, the work she did in response to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita directly impacted literally hundreds of animals and their owners. Combined with the work that she and Board member Laurel Ley did together, thousands of lives were impacted.
