A weekend in the greater Los Angeles area celebrating the able-ness of animals with disabilities.
This is a wonderful cross-over program which highlights the active lifestyles of disabled animals, especially those in carts. Disabled cart dogs and their owners from across the country will be involved in various activities and a parade. Other activities will also be available for owners and their animals who aren’t disabled. And if you just love animals and want to come visit, we’ll have something for you as well.
Saturday’s day events will culminate in various awards such as the “Funniest Dog”, “Sexiest Cart Dog Alive”, “Fastest Cart in the West”; prizes will be given out by celebrities appropriate to the category.
Cha
Cha will be the "Dogster of Ceremonies", due to her warm and inviting personality and her ability to get along with everyone.
As this program is still in development, we are in need of volunteers for
the program including various committee heads. Additionally, in-kind
donation and sponsorship opportunities
will be available as well. Chariots
of Fur will offer an unique opportunity to speak to both local
and national animal owners, all who are passionate about their
animals and loyal to those who support their efforts and beliefs.
If you are interested in participating in any capacity, please contact us.
