Healing HEART Sanctuary periodically participates in adoption events as well as other events organized by third parties. And sometimes we’re asked to participate as one of our Residents is being honored.
The common thread across all events which HHS participates in is the joy the animals bring to all who come to visit. Sometimes the hardest part of any event is how spoiled any of the sanctuary participants can become from unlimited attention. And it’s truly indescribable how most people feel after even a short time with any of our enthusiastic and loving residents.

Additionally, our Chariots of Fur program is in development. We hope that this weekend of celebrating the able-ness of animals with disabilities will become an ongoing awareness-building program which we can all celebrate together year after year.
